In accordance with the requirements of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 18, 2020, PD-5938 “On measures to improve the socio-spiritual atmosphere in society, further support of the Mahalla Institute, as well as raising a new level of work with families and women, in order to protect the purpose of protecting The socio-economic rights and interests of women working in the joint-stock company «O’ZBEKENERGOTA’MIR» created the Council of Women.
By order of JSC «O’ZBEKENERGOTA’MIR» August 10, 2021 №368 approved the provision of the Council of Women JSC «O’ZBEKENERGOTA’MIR». According to the Regulation, the council acts on a voluntary basis, women under the age of 30 years before retirement age are elected by its chairman, working in the team of a joint-stock company, which has a reputation, life experience and organizational abilities, socio-political literacy, as well as knowledgeable reforms.
- Achieve the expansion of opportunities for the safe work of women working in the management apparatus and production areas of the joint-stock company «O’ZBEKENERGOTA’MIR», to enhance their legal culture, to participate in cultural and educational activities, and to monitor their implementation;
- Ensure a decent environment for women, especially young people, to demonstrate their intellectual potential, and to realize their internal capabilities and talents;
- Ensure the active participation of women in public life and create necessary conditions for their professional development. In the course of its activities, the Council may conduct a social analysis of issues related to the rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests of women, and determine appropriate measures to resolve them in case of violations.
The Council also implements activities aimed at broadly involving women in socio-political activities, preparing proposals for solving their problems and supporting women involved in socio-political life, as well as preparing proposals for state awards ("honorary woman" badge, "Independence Day," etc.) and awards from the CIS Energy Council, and preparing proposals for encouraging women who have achieved high results in their work and contributed significantly to the development of society (thanks, honorary certificates, etc.).
Providing psychological and financial assistance to women in need in difficult social situations, analyzing issues related to the rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests of women needing social protection, especially those who are underprivileged, orphans, and disabled women; strengthening the protection of legitimate interests, increasing women's loyalty to national and spiritual interests, the values and spirit of the idea of national independence, raising their cultural, educational, and spiritual levels, promoting a healthy lifestyle, especially among young girls; preventing family conflicts in families, studying the causes and consequences of conflict situations in families, raising the legal culture of family members, protecting motherhood and childhood, as well as preventing interference in the personal lives of women, and solving problems related to the degradation of their dignity. Representatives of the women's council in the production areas of the enterprise work voluntarily in coordination with the Women's Council of the joint-stock company "O'zbekenergota'mir" and carry out their duties.
